The new season saw the Whites off to a winning
start at Crystal Park, Banbridge.

After a Town corner had been whipped across the
visitors' goalmouth, the Whites went in front on
11 minutes.Darren Armour nipped in between defender
and keeper, and then followed up to fire home after
his header had come back off the post.

Andy Kilmartin made it two on 19 minutes, his drive
from the edge of the box taking a deflection en-route to goal.

Banbridge pulled one back on 30 minutes, Ryan Evans
taking advantage of a mix-up between Phil Matthew
s and Michael Ferguson.

Town started the second-half well, sub keeper David Wilton
tipping a Timmy Grant drive over.Stephen Haveron saved
well from Stuart Thompson before Wilton made a good stop
from Andy Brown.

Town keeper Haveron went off injured late on, and Andrew
Waterworth netted from close range on 86 minutes after a pass
from John Martin.
