Match Report from Colin Hopkins Managers' Views

The Whites unbeaten pre-season run continued with a win against Knockbreda Parish although they were made to work all the way by their junior opponents.

First half goals from new signing James Bell and
Darren Armour (for the third consecutive game) gave the Whites a deserved lead but all credit to the juniors, with former Linfield player Miguel Chines pulling the shots.

They simply wouldn't lie down and they were unlucky not to get a goal back. They were denied firstly by the post,
and then an effort which Phil Matthews somehow clawed back to stop the ball crossing the line.

The third Distillery strike was a well taken effort from
another new signing, Andrew Waterworth, and in the end the senior side did enough to secure the success.

Making his debut on the night for the,Whites was Scotsman Andy Donaghey who is currently on trial with the
club and he certainly didn't do his hope of a contract any harm with a steady display.
