Buchanan
goes H2H with Cameron |
|
BBC
(Northern Ireland) Ceefax continues to run its' weekly supporter
v reporter prediction competition.
This
week Lisburn Distillery fan Francis Buchanan goes head to
head with Sportsound match reporter Grant Cameron.
A
few seasons ago Whites fan Ian Gill went close to causing
an upset. Let's see how Francis fares this time out, though
we suspect that most Whites' fans will be happy enough if
Francis's final prediction comes through.

alleged to have 'conned' two Welsh soccer clubs into paying
for accomodation and other expenses.
The
following is the official response from the club: 'We are
perturbed at these allegations and the problems encountered
by other football clubs. Alessandro Zarelli was sent home
from Lisburn Distillery following a breach of club discipline. We

Kirk
reflects on CIS win |
|
Speaking
after the six nil victory over Limavady Utd in the CIS Insurance
Cup, manager Paul Kirk had this to say
'I
said on Saturday that there was a fine line between where
we are and where we where going, we crossed that line tonight.
I thought we played extremely well in the opening twenty minutes
and should have came in more goals up. But I am delighted
with the response from the players tonight after Saturday's
disappointment - we are looking forward to the semis. I was
however disappointed that when they went down to nine men
with just over twenty minutes left that we didn't score more.We
were wasteful, we were careless and I told the players that
I wouldn't accept that, we have to be ruthless. It was though
a super performance and I thought that Andy Kilmartin had
an outstanding game for us tonight.'
