125th
anniversary event |
|
A
dinner, one of a series of events marking the 125th anniversary
of the club, will be held in the Social Club on Friday 25th
November 2005. There will be a limited number of tickets available
for this special event.These cost £25 each (price includes
meal and wine) and tickets are available from the club shop
at present.

years at New Grosvenor |
| There
will be an event after Saturday's home game against Glenavon
to mark our 25th anniversary at New Grosvenor.Organised by the
Lisburn Whites, the event will see a number of players from
the first competitive match all those years ago in attendance.
There will be a presentation + tea and sandwiches. Kick-off
will be around 5.00 pm in the Social Club, with everyone welcome. |

| Latest
word from the 'Down Under' is that Andy Barron is on the verge
of signing for New Zealand National League side Canterbury Utd.
The National League is due to start in late October. |

Grosvenor 25 years on |
|
Hard
to believe, but it's twenty-five years to the day since New
Grosvenor Stadium was officially opened.
Crusaders
played the Whites to commemorate the occasion and despite
defeat the Whites were delighted to eventually have a home
of their own - see 'Whites old boys celebrate the passing
of darker times' article, posted on 26/08/05 (article
by kind permission of the Ireland's Saturday Night).
An
event marking 25 years at New Grosvenor will occur on Saturday
01st October and
will take place in the social club after the home Irish Premier
League match against Glenavon.
