The Whites took the lead in the 5th minute, when David Lough curled a beauty of a free kick into the top corner of the Dungannon goal, giving keeper Stuart Addis no chance. Both sides had chances in the first half but the score remained 1-0 at half time. The Whites could not add to their score in the second half, even though they dominated the play, thanks to a very solid back four and a keeper who looked sharp even though he did not see a lot of the ball.
